CONSORCIO INTEGRADO POR OHL – MOTA ENGIL OBTUVO MEJOR CALIFICACIÓN PARA EXTENSIÓN DE LÍNEA 1 DEL METRO

El Consorcio Línea Panamá Norte, conformado por las empresas OHL-Mota Engil, logró el mejor puntaje en la licitación por mejor valor con evaluación separada para la extensión de la línea 1 del Metro de Panamá hasta Villa Zaíta. En total se evaluaron las ofertas de cinco consorcios y el Consorcio Línea Panamá Norte obtuvo una calificación final de 793 puntos.

El 15 de febrero 2019, OHL presentó en Panamá su propuesta por esta licitación poniendo su extenso conocimiento y experiencia en la construcción de ferrovías a nivel global, al servicio de la sociedad panameña. La empresa tiene una fuerte presencia en América, en donde suma más de 40 años realizando proyectos de obra civil y edificación singular.

“Estamos muy entusiasmados de que nuestra oferta para la extensión de la línea 1 del Metro haya recibido el puntaje más alto, premio al enorme esfuerzo realizado por nuestros equipos técnicos para conseguir la mejor calificación final, compitiendo con cuatro consorcios de indudable talla y experiencia internacional. SAGICOR HONRA A LOS HÉROES DE SERVICIOS MÉDICOS

Sagicor se complace en anunciar el lanzamiento del primer producto de su serie Héroes, el plan de seguros del Grupo Sagicor especialmente diseñado para los trabajadores de la salud.

Ravi Rambarran, presidente y CEO de Sagicor Life Inc., expresó que «el virus COVID-19 ha puesto en clara evidencia lo dependientes que somos el uno del otro. Reconocemos que los héroes no sólo existen en las películas, sino que viven con nosotros. Nuestros héroes están en primera línea, incluyendo a los que se dedican a la atención médica, alimentos, transporte, saneamiento y servicios de protección”.

«Creemos que en consonancia con nuestra visión de mejorar la vida de la comunidad en la que operamos, es nuestro deber reconocer a nuestros héroes”, concluyó Rambarran.

Por su parte, Juan Carlos Martinelli Gerente General de Sagicor Panamá indicó “El plan de Sagicor cubrirá a médicos, personal de enfermería, farmacéuticos, odontólogos, personal administrativo y sus familias. Los beneficios serán pagaderos en la muerte, incluyendo la muerte accidental. El nivel uno del Plan pagará $250,000 por muerte, incluyendo accidente. El nivel dos pagará $500,000 por muerte incluyendo accidentes, mientras que en el nivel tres pagará $1,000,000 por muerte incluyendo accidentes.

Las primas mensuales son $50 para el nivel uno, $100 para el nivel dos y $200 para el nivel tres, para personas de 18-64 años y a partir de 65-75 años las sumas aseguradas y las primas se reducen un 50% para cada nivel.

Cada año nuestros héroes tendrán el derecho de cambiar a un nivel superior llenando una declaración de buena salud. El único requisito de unirse es estar activamente laborando, y para los mayores de 65 años llenar una declaración de buena salud.

En estos meses difíciles de pandemia hemos comprobado que somos uno y nos sentimos honrados de poder servirles como ellos nos sirven con dedicación y entrega. Se han sacrificado para mantener a nuestras comunidades seguras y por eso nos honra estar presentes para ellos» concluyó Juan Carlos Martinelli.
